This M10 Form C flat washer is manufactured to BS4320-C in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). BS4320 Form C specifies a large outer diameter washer - the wider OD provides a larger bearing surface than a standard DIN 125-A Form A washer for the same nominal bolt size. The increased bearing area is particularly useful in timber, plastic, and thin-sheet applications where a standard washer would risk pull-through, or where the clearance hole in the parent material is larger than the nominal bolt diameter.
