This M3 Form A flat washer is manufactured to DIN 125-A in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). DIN 125-A (ISO 7089) specifies the normal series flat washer - the standard size paired with the majority of metric bolt and nut combinations. Placed under a bolt head or nut face, the washer spreads the clamping load over a larger bearing area, reducing stress on the parent surface and protecting softer materials such as timber, aluminium, and plastics from marking or crushing under the fastener head.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
