This M12 Form C flat washer is manufactured to BS4320-C in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). BS4320 Form C specifies a large outer diameter washer - the wider OD provides a larger bearing surface than a standard DIN 125-A Form A washer for the same nominal bolt size. The increased bearing area is particularly useful in timber, plastic, and thin-sheet applications where a standard washer would risk pull-through, or where the clearance hole in the parent material is larger than the nominal bolt diameter.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
