DIN 933 specifies full thread engagement from head to tip, which is the right choice when bolting into blind holes, thin material or any joint where you want thread contact along the full shank. Not to be confused with DIN 931 (partial thread), which handles shear load differently. In the trade these are also known as “hex set screws”, “set bolts” or “tap bolts” - all the same fastener.
