This M6 rectangular section spring washer is manufactured to DIN 127-B in A4 stainless steel (316 marine grade). DIN 127-B specifies a split, helical spring washer with a rectangular cross-section. Placed under the nut or bolt head before tightening, the compressed spring section exerts a continuous axial spring force on the nut face once the joint is made. This spring tension resists the nut backing off under vibration, thermal cycling, and dynamic loading - providing reliable anti-loosening performance without chemical thread locking compound.
