This 6.3mm x 50mm hex head self-drilling screw is manufactured to DIN 7504-K in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). DIN 7504-K specifies a self-drilling, self-tapping screw: the drill-point tip bores through compatible aluminium sheet and simultaneously taps a thread in a single driving operation, eliminating separate pre-drilling and pre-tapping for suitable aluminium substrates. This can reduce installation time in aluminium cladding, roofline panels and compatible thin-gauge assemblies. The hex washer head sits above the surface with a built-in seating face, suited to standard sockets, magnetic nut-runners, and impact drivers for high-speed power-tool installation. The drill point is rated for specific material thicknesses - use the correct screw length for the combined substrate thickness.
