This 4.2mm x 25mm Pozidriv pan head self-tapping screw is manufactured to DIN 7981-C in A4 stainless steel (316 marine grade). DIN 7981-C specifies a Type-C thread form with a sharp, thread-cutting tip that forms its own mating thread into the parent material on first drive. This eliminates pre-tapping in suitable plastics, UPVC, aluminium and other compatible thin-gauge substrates. The pan head sits above the surface, providing a visible clamping face - practical for plastic or aluminium panels and suitable enclosures where a flush finish is not required.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
