Should I use A2 or A4 eye bolts near the coast?
Use A4 (316) eye bolts for coastal, marine and permanently wet applications, since A4 resists chloride pitting better than A2 (304). A2 is suitable for indoor and general outdoor use away from salt exposure. Simfix stocks eye bolts in both grades.
