This M4 x 12mm socket button head flange screw is manufactured to ISO 7380-2 in A4 stainless steel (316 grade). ISO 7380-2 specifies a low domed head with an integral flange, driven by an internal hexagon socket, spreading the clamping load without a separate washer. The integral flange spreads the clamping force over a wider bearing area than the head alone, protecting softer materials and removing the need for a separate washer.
Typical applications

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
