Stainless steel flat washers in A2 (304) and A4 (316), with a few sizes also in duplex (1.4462).
- Form A (DIN 125-A and ISO 7089): the standard washer for most bolted joints, from M1.6 to M64.
- Form B (DIN 125-B and BS 4320): a chamfered version of the standard washer, from M5 to M39.
- Form C (BS 4320): a wider outside diameter to spread load into softwood, thin sheet or soft material, from M4 to M36.
- Form D (BS 4320), plus large diameter washers to DIN 9021 and ISO 7093 and small washers to DIN 433.
- Imperial flat washers to BS 3410 and BA sizes.
Fit one under the nut, and for critical joints one under the bolt head as well, to spread the load and protect the surface. Choose A4 for coastal, marine and humid environments. Penny washers are in the main Washers collection.
