This 5.5 x 80mm hex head self-drilling screw is manufactured to DIN 7504-K in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). DIN 7504-K specifies a hex washer head self-drilling screw with a drill point, drilling, tapping, and fixing in a single operation. The drill point cuts its own hole before the thread engages, and the hex washer head takes a nut driver, allowing high torque and a wide bearing face against sheet material.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
