This 3/8" UNC x 3.1/4" part threaded hex bolt is manufactured in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). The unthreaded shank sits in the bearing hole rather than the thread, locating the joint accurately and presenting a solid cross-section to shear loads instead of the reduced root diameter of a thread.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
