This 6 socket set screw with cup point is manufactured to B18.3 in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). B18.3 specifies a headless threaded screw with an internal hex socket and a recessed cup point, for locking components onto a shaft. The cup point bites into the shaft surface under tightening, resisting rotation. Sitting entirely within the threaded hole, it leaves nothing protruding from the boss.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
