Pan head self-tapping screws in A2 (304) and A4 (316) stainless steel, from 2.2mm to 6.3mm (ST2.2 to ST6.3). They form their own thread in a correctly sized prepared hole.
- Pozi drive to DIN 7981, in A2 and A4.
- Phillips drive to DIN 7981, in A2 and A4.
- Slotted to DIN 7971, in A2 and A4.
- Six lobe drive to ISO 14585, in A2.
Most have a type C pointed tip, and some come with a type F flat tip. Use them only with the materials stated on each product page, such as aluminium, UPVC and suitable plastics, and test the joint before repeat installation. Choose A2 for indoor and non-coastal use, or A4 for coastal, wet and chloride-exposed jobs.
