This 6.3 x 50mm raised countersunk self-tapping screw is manufactured to DIN 7983-C in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). DIN 7983-C specifies a raised countersunk self-tapping screw with a cross recess drive, for a self-tapped fixing with a finished visible face. The head seats into a countersink and finishes with a shallow dome, combining a self-tapping thread with a tidier appearance than a plain flat head.

Typical applications

  • Visible fixings into sheet and board
  • Trim, hardware, and fittings
  • Vehicle and marine interior panels
  • General light fixing

Available in packs of 25 to 200, with free next-day UK delivery on orders over £50 and 30-day no-quibble returns. For coastal, marine, or chloride-rich environments, Simfix A4 (316 grade) equivalents are available.

How do I choose between A2 and A4 stainless steel?

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.

How do I make sure I order the right size?

Check the size in the product title and the standard, material and dimensions in the Product Specification tab. In M8 x 30, M8 is the thread diameter and 30 is the length in millimetres. See our size guide if you need more help.

When will my order arrive?

Orders placed before 3:30pm Monday-Friday are typically dispatched the same working day and every order is tracked. Next-day delivery is free over £50, or £5.99 below that threshold. Full options are shown at checkout.
