Stainless steel security screws in A2 (304) and A4 (316), for public places and anywhere fixings must resist tampering.
- Pin hex and six lobe pin screws have a centre pin in the drive, so a standard hex key or Torx driver will not fit.
- One-way screws can be tightened but not undone with ordinary tools.
- Two-hole (snake eye) screws need a matching two-pin driver.
Security screws only protect a fixing if the driver is kept away from the public, so keep the matching bit with the installer. Choose A4 for coastal and marine sites.
