1/4" UNC X 1.1/2" Hexagon Socket Cap Screw ANSI/ASME B18.3 A4 10 Pack Stainless Steel
- RRP
- £16.20
This 1/4" UNC x 1.1/2" socket cap screw is manufactured to ANSI/ASME B18.3 in A4 stainless steel (316 grade). ANSI/ASME B18.3 specifies the imperial series of socket head cap screws, driven by an internal hexagon socket, making it the correct fitting for UNC and UNF threaded assemblies. The internal hex socket allows high torque to be applied with a short key in confined spaces. Imperial threads are not interchangeable with metric, so this size suits equipment originally built to UNC or UNF.
Typical applications
- Maintenance of imperial-threaded plant and machinery
- American and legacy British equipment repair
- Counterbored joints in imperial assemblies
- Tooling and fixtures built to imperial standards
Available in packs of 10 to 50, with free next-day UK delivery on orders over £50 and 30-day no-quibble returns.

How do I choose between A2 and A4 stainless steel?
A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
How do I make sure I order the right size?
Check the size in the product title and the standard, material and dimensions in the Product Specification tab. In M8 x 30, M8 is the thread diameter and 30 is the length in millimetres. See our size guide if you need more help.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 3:30pm Monday-Friday are typically dispatched the same working day and every order is tracked. Next-day delivery is free over £50, or £5.50 below that threshold. Full options are shown at checkout.
