This 4.8 x 9.5mm six lobe pan head self-tapping screw is manufactured to ISO 14585-C in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). ISO 14585-C specifies a pan head self-tapping screw driven by a six lobe recess, forming its own thread with high torque transfer. The hardened thread cuts its own path into a pilot hole while the six lobe recess grips over a larger area than a cross recess, resisting cam-out under powered assembly.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.

Check the size in the product title and the standard, material and dimensions in the Product Specification tab. In M8 x 30, M8 is the thread diameter and 30 is the length in millimetres. See our size guide if you need more help.

Orders placed before 3:30pm Monday-Friday are typically dispatched the same working day and every order is tracked. Next-day delivery is free over £50, or £5.99 below that threshold. Full options are shown at checkout.
