This M30 spring washer is manufactured to DIN 7980 in stainless steel. DIN 7980 specifies a split washer with a rectangular section and offset ends, for maintaining tension under vibration. The split ring is compressed flat under tightening and pushes back against the nut face, maintaining tension in the joint and helping resist loosening from vibration.

A2 (304) stainless steel suits most indoor, outdoor and workshop jobs. Choose A4 (316) marine grade for coastal, marine, poolside or other chloride-rich environments.
