This M8 cast eye bolt is manufactured in A4 stainless steel (316 marine grade). The cast closed loop (eye) at the head accepts hooks, D-rings, cord, and light wire terminations for general-purpose anchoring, tie-downs, and guide-wire attachment points. The metric-threaded shank screws directly into a pre-tapped hole in a structural member, or is secured with a nut and washer on the reverse side for through-fixing in beams, joists, and timber. Suitable for light hand-tension applications in workshop and plant room environments. This is a cast component supplied without a certified working load limit: it is not rated for lifting, hoisting, or overhead loads. Use certified lifting equipment for any load-bearing or overhead application.
