This M6 x 10mm socket set screw with flat point is manufactured to ISO 4026 in A2 stainless steel (304 grade). ISO 4026 specifies a headless set screw driven entirely below the surface using a hex key. The flat-point tip bears directly against the shaft surface without biting in, distributing the holding force across a small contact area and making it suitable where the shaft surface must remain undamaged or where the assembly will need future disassembly. Used as a grub screw to lock shafts, collars, and couplings in position.
