Hexagon dome nuts, also called cap nuts or acorn nuts, in A2 (304) from M3 to M30 and A4 (316) from M3 to M36, with metric sizes made to DIN 1587 and imperial sizes in A2. The closed cap covers the end of the bolt for a neat, snag-free finish on furniture, signs, handrails and exposed bolted joints.
For a capped nut that also resists vibration, choose a domed nyloc nut to DIN 986, in A2 from M4 to M16. Check the bolt is short enough not to bottom out inside the dome. Choose A4 for bathrooms, kitchens, coastal exteriors and any humid or salt-exposed job.
